Andrea is a Director and Producer based in London.
Her recent theatre directing credits include: DON JUAN COMES BACK FROM THE WAR (Finborough Theatre - nominated for 7 Off West End Awards), TANGO (Young Vic), NEIGHBORS, THE LANGUAGE ARCHIVE, ANOTHER MAN'S SON, HORSES IN A STORM (National Theatre Studio), SLEEPING ROUGH (HighTide), FEN (Rose Theatre), ROMEO AND JULIET (Old Vic New Voices), FAR AWAY (Kennedy Center, Washington DC). In Opera, Andrea directed the UK Premieres of Philip Glass's LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES and THE SOUND OF A VOICE (Arcola Theatre).
In 2012, Andrea won the Leverhulme Directors' Bursary, becoming Director in Residence at the National Theatre Studio and the Finborough Theatre. In 2014, she was awarded a Fellowship by the Goethe Institut to direct in Germany for a year. She is currently Director of the New Play Festival at the Arcola, which will premiere five award-winning European plays in September 2015.
Andrea completed her Directing MFA at Columbia University, funded by a UNESCO Leventis Fellowship. She is currently training in TV and Film Directing on the BBC Directors Course and at the American Film Institute.
